Le sixième février mil sept quarante deux est né dans la paroisse de la REVESTISON-CHABOT, Pierre fils de Charles ROCHETEAU et de Catherine QUAIRÉ, conjoints, le parein et la mareine sont Pierre BOUTEILLER et Magdeleine BOUHIER qui ont déclarer ne scavoir signer, hors le parein qui s'est soussigné avec moy. Pierre BOUTEILLER - M. JOZEREAU curé du CORMENIER. On the sixth of Febuary 1742 was born in the parish of La Revestison-Chabot, Pierre, son of Charles Rocheteau and of Catherine Quairé, husband and wife. The godfather and godmother are Pierre Bouteiller and Magdeleine Bouhier who have declared to not know how to sign, except for the godfather who is undersigned with me. Signatures: Pierre Bouteiller, M. Jozereau Parish priest of Cormenier.

Le premier novembre mil sept cent quarante deux est decedé le Sieur Aymé ROCHETEAU procureur d'office de l'inson (?), controlleur des Exploits, munis des sacrements pénitence, eucharistie et extrême onction agé de soixante et quinze ans et a sté inhumé le deux du meme mois en l'église de BEAUVOIR sur NIORT en présence des Mrs les curés soussignés. - ROCHETEAU fils, ALBERT curé de la Revêtison, MACÉ curé de la CHARAIERE, pb de gneame (?) curé de BEAUVOIR sur NIORT. On the 1st of November 1742, has died Mr. Aymé Rocheteau, prosecutor of office of the ____(?), controllor of the Exploits, provided with the sacraments of Penance, the Eucharist and Extreme Unction at the age of of seventy five years and buried the second day of the same month in the church of BEAUVOIR sur NIORT in the presence of the sirs the undersigned priests. - Signatures: ROCHETEAU the son, ALBERT Parish priest of La Revêtison, MACÉ, Parish priest of La CHARAIERE, Pb of gneame (?), Parish priest of BEAUVOIR sur NIORT. [This is one document that needs to be revisited in the original. There are questions that depend on the writing in the signature transcription...RJR]

Le vingt huit Janvier 1774 a été Baptisée Louise, née de ce jour fille légitime de Jacques JUNIER (ou JUNIN?) laboureur et de Louise ROCHETEAU le parrein a été Michel SIMONET et la mareine Louise BURGAUD en présence du pére qui seul sait signer - Jacque JUNIN, ARNAUD curé de COURMENIER. On the 28th of January 1774, I have baptized Louise, born this day, legitimate daughter of Jacques Junier (or JUNIN?) laborer and of Louise Rocheteau (the godfather was Michel Simonet and the godmother Louise Burgaud) in the presence of the father who alone knew how to sign. Signatures: Jacques Junin, Arnold, Parish priest of Courmenier.

Le cinq juin ____ a été baptisée Marie née de ce jour fille légitime de Jacques JUNIN, de Louise ROCHETEAU, le parain a été Pierre JOUBERT et la mareine Marie ROTHEAU qui ont déclaré ne savoir signer, approuvé deux mots dictée lignée. On the 5th of June ____, I have baptized Marie born the same day, legitimate daughter of Jacques Junin of Louise Rocheteau. The godfather was Pierre Joubert and the godmother Marie Rotheau who have declared not to know how to sign. "approval two words dictated line (?)"
